Red lipstick

Lol what's wrong with my head?! I've read in a magazine that the red lipstick is very modern now and we have to use it bravely. Now I've just got home and saw one of my mum's lipstick (it was red of course :)) but when I take it and put into my lips - I scared myself! I looked terribly :( My mum came and looked frightened, too! She said I've put very much lipstick and she went out. Now I can't wait to go to the bathroom, to take a shower and... clean up the lipstick!
It seems the red one is not my colour :b
